How it works

Scan your ticket. We check it and tell you if you won.

  1. 1

    Scan your ticket.

Point your camera. We read every line, and you confirm it before it saves.

Your photo is read to check the ticket, then discarded. We never store it.

  2. 2

    We monitor the drawings.

We check each saved ticket against the official results for the drawing it’s entered in.

  3. 3

    You get an alert.

If your ticket wins anything, we tell you what it’s worth: exact for fixed prizes, estimated for jackpots.

WonYet is a free web app that checks lottery tickets. You snap a photo of a paper lottery ticket you already bought; WonYet reads the numbers, identifies the game, and saves the ticket to your account. After each saved ticket’s official drawing, WonYet compares its numbers against the published winning numbers for that drawing and tells you whether you won and how much. You’ll see it in the app, by email, and as a push alert — all included, free.

Scratch-off tickets work a little differently: snap a photo of a scratched ticket and WonYet reads the rules printed on it, compares your revealed numbers, and gives you an instant read to confirm.

WonYet also tracks jackpots, calculates taxes on prizes, and manages shared office pools. It does not sell lottery tickets, accept wagers, or pay out prizes. Always verify wins through official lottery channels.

How your data is used

Creating an account requires only an email address. If you choose Sign in with Google, WonYet receives only your name and email address from your Google account, used solely to create and sign in to your account. Nothing else (your contacts, Drive, photos, and so on) is ever accessed, stored, or shared. Details in our privacy policy and terms of service.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight

Is WonYet really free?

Yes — and checking your numbers is always free: typing a ticket in by hand never uses a scan, so you can check as many tickets as you like at no cost. There is no paid plan and no card: you get 30 photo scans a month, automatic win-checking on every drawing, push win alerts minutes after results land, every ticket you save kept in your history, shared pools, and jackpot alerts. No dark patterns.

Which lotteries does WonYet support?

326 games: every major US multi-state lottery, flagship draw games across 47 states & jurisdictions, 66 international lotteries from EuroMillions to Japan’s Loto 7, and scratch-offs. The list grows every release.

How does the scanning work?

Snap a photo of your ticket and WonYet extracts the game, every line of numbers, the bonus ball, multipliers, and the drawing date — usually in under ten seconds. You confirm what it read before anything is saved, and you can correct any digit.

Can WonYet check scratch-off tickets?

Yes. Snap a photo of a scratched ticket and WonYet reads the rules printed on it, compares the winning numbers against your revealed numbers, and gives you an instant read. Scratch-off reads are automatic and can misread a partial scratch — always confirm against the ticket’s own rules and verify any win at a retailer or lottery office before discarding the ticket.

Does WonYet sell lottery tickets?

No. WonYet checks results only. We don’t sell tickets, accept wagers, or facilitate gambling — and you should always verify wins through official lottery channels before claiming.

Is my ticket safe to scan?

Your ticket photo is never stored. WonYet reads the numbers off it in memory and discards the image immediately — it’s used for that one thing only, and is never saved, shared, or sold. Details in our privacy policy.
